Nagpur Today : Nagpur News

Mayor Datke, MP Tumane, Minister Bawankule, MLA Kedar and MLA Deshmukh
Nagpur:
Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Monday announced that a Bakramandi (Goat Market) and slaughter-house will be set up in Kalamna on NIT land. “The APMC (Agriculture Produce Market Committee) does not have land for Bakramandi and slaughter-house. Hence Nagpur Improvement should acquire a private land and allot it for Bakramandi. The land could be purchased even by selling TDR. The NIT will be issued No Objection Certificate within eight days and the work for building Bakramandi will begin soon,” Bawankule stated at a meeting of officials held here on Monday.

The meeting was attended by Ramtek MP Krupal Tumane, Mayor Pravin Datke, Saoner MLA Sunil Kedar and Katol MLA Ashish Deshmukh. Mayor said he had taken a stand that if APMC provided land then NMC will construct the slaughter-house. But Kedar said that APMC has no land for it. The meeting unanimously agreed that NIT should make available land for Bakramandi. The NIT pointed out that a 7-acre private land is available at Kalamna. However, the private land has been encroached upon but it can be acquisitioned by removing the encroachments. Finally, the meeting decided that NMC will give TDR to the owner of the land and acquire the private land and start construction for Bakramandi.

The six-acre land in Mominpura for Bakramandi as shown in City Development Plan has been encroached upon. Out of six acres, only 22000 sq ft of land is vacant. Therefore, Bakramandi in Mominpura is also not possible. With this situation at hands, the people’s representatives agreed for Bakramandi in Kalamna itself.

2 Sadar cops, probing rigging of NMC tenders by ‘ring’ of contractors, divested of job

Nagpur Today : Nagpur News

NMC
Nagpur:
Taking a serious note of Nagpur Today report on the corrupt practices being indulged by the ‘ring’ of contractors in NMC and the investigating Sadar cops showing a soft corner towards a specific ‘tainted’ contractor and also trying to derail the probe, the higher official of police station has reportedly divested the policemen of the probe and took the investigation into his own hands.

The Regional Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Manavadhikar Nigrani Samiti Lalsingh Thakur had recently shot a letter to Crime Branch and highlighted the corrupt practices being indulged in by some of the unscrupulous contractors in connivance with certain NMC babus. Thakur, in his letter, had urged the Crime Branch to go deeper into shady affairs and dig out the truth. Thakur had alleged that a ‘ring’ of contractors, in connivance with a Tender Cell employee named Lokhande hacked the website of NMC and rigged the tenders of various works. With this nasty practice, the ‘ring’ of contractors rigged the tenders and pocketed around Rs 200 crore every year since the past six years.

In his letter to Crime Branch, Thakur has raised the following points:
• A high-level investigation be initiated in the ‘high-level’ corruption in NMC’s tendering process.
• Since the matter falls in cyber crime category, the cyber cell of Crime Branch dig out the truth and nail the guilty.
• The details of mobile calls, SMSes, WhatsApp chats of the ‘tainted’ contractors (names provided by him) should be scanned so that truth comes to fore. Earlier, the Crime Branch had forwarded a letter to Sadar Police Station for investigating our complaint and also recording statements. Subsequently, a senior Head Constable named Dhurve was assigned the responsibility. On the instructions of Dhurve, his Writer Charde called him to police station on June 15 for recording his statement. Surprisingly, Charde recorded my the statement in a very few words or to say precisely adopted a ‘short cut.’ Charde then asked me to come to Police Station again on June 22 for appearing before DCP of Crime Branch.

According to sources, the Sadar cops had not recorded the statements of any of the past presidents of NMC Contractors’ Association nor the present office-bearers till June 21 evening as demanded by me. But still the investigating officer phoned him on June 21 and directed him to appear before the DCP on Wednesday (June 22). When Thakur asked the cops whether statements of any of the past presidents of NMC Contractors’ Association or the present office-bearers were recorded, he said that he did not get time to do so. In turn, Thakur retorted by saying what is the use of him appearing before the ACP or DCP unless the statements of others were not recorded. Finally, the cop agreed to record statements.
According to Thakur, Dhurve or Charde first called a contractor named Sheikh Ramzan on June 28 and recorded his statement. Sheikh Ramzan, while recording his statement, had urged the investigating cops to record statements of other ‘tainted’ contractors separately. But Dhurve and Charde called all the contractors simultaneously and recorded their statements together. On June 29, all the called contractors reached the Sadar Police Station together and recorded their statements, ‘uniquely.’ Thereafter, the contractors were asked to appear before the DCP Crime Branch next Wednesday.

“All these ‘activities’ of the ‘tainted’ contractors in coming together to police station and recording statements in a suo motu manner shows the rot. Had our complaint held no water then why the Tender Cell in NMC was shut down and why the NMC is now floating tenders through State Government website? The truth behind this move could be sought from NMC Administration. I don’t have any vested interests in exposing the ‘ring’ of contractors nor bagging a tender,” Thakur asserted.

Acting on the revealing letter of Thakur to Crime Branch, the Police Inspector of Sadar Police Station has divested the investigating cops probing the corrupt practices being indulged in by the ‘ring’ of contractors and took the investigation into his hands.

The tainted contractors mop up crores by forming a “ring” of contractors 4-5 years ago with the “help” of babus and office-bearers of the local body and usurped 1 percent commission from the contractors of the “Ring.”. This money in crore is being used by a key contractor of the Association in their “money-multiplying” activities. This practice has seriously brought down the productivity and quality of output.

Nonetheless, sources added, entire gamut is firmly placed to stick to corrupt means. The contractual system in Nagpur Municipal Corporation has been proving to be the breeding grounds for corrupt practices, as insiders broke open the entire scheme of things undertaken to get any NMC contractor registered or renewed.

The Regional Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Manavadhikar Nigrani Samiti Lalsingh Thakur took up the matter with Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch and demanded appropriate legal action in order to stop misuse of people’s tax money by some unscrupulous elements that are ruling the NMC roost.

Nagpur:
Unidentified burglar(s) struck at a residence of a policeman in Narsala of Hudkeshwar area and took away not only cash and other valuables but also police uniforms having monograms. The theft of full police uniforms is likely to pose a major hazard for city cops as the uniforms could be used by the accused burglar(s) in their nefarious designs. With the repercussions in mind, police have mounted a massive manhunt to apprehend the anti-socials.

The complainant cop, Hemant Santoshrao Raut (58), resident of Plot No. 18, Indra Nagar, Narsala, had gone to Multai in Madhya Pradesh for his son’s medical treatment. Taking advantage of the situation, the unidentified burglar(s) broke open the main lock of Hemant Raut’s house between 7 am of July 2 and 9 pm of July 3 and gained entry. Once inside, the miscreant(s) opened two steel almirahs and grabbed cash of Rs 30,000, gold-silver ornaments, and also TV, mobile phone collectively valued at Rs 1.23 lakh. Interestingly, while fleeing the spot, the ruffians took away full police uniforms having monograms. The audacious theft came to light when the cop Hemant Raut returned home from Multai. Stunned by the theft incident, he immediately approached Hudkeshwar Police Station and registered a case.

PSI Totewar, acting on the complaint, has booked the unidentified burglar(s) under Sections 454, 457, 380 of IPC and launched a hunt to nab them.

The theft of full police uniforms with insignia or monograms could prove a major headache for city cops considering the misuse the goons may resort to.

Coal and Real Estate
Nagpur:
In a move that could shatter the ‘business plans’ of real estate promoters eying a major chunk of commercial land in the booming Hingna area, Mahagenco has shot a letter to the Deputy Inspector General of Registration and demanded a halt to all the property transactions and construction on it in Hingna with immediate effect. The Mahagenco move stems from the fact that the power generating company has in April, 2016 signed an agreement with Ministry of Coal for excavation of coal in Mahajanwadi coal block which falls under Hingna tehsil and covers areas like Wanadongri, Raipur, Hingna, Dhangarpura, Sukali, Takali, Sumthana, Mondha and Panjari. In order to facilitate mining operation, Mahagenco has demanded total halt to all the property transactions and construction on it in Hingna with immediate effect. All these aforementioned areas have reportedly witnessed property deals in gigantic magnitude in the past many years.

If the Registrar Office abides the latest directives, then it will hit a series of housing schemes, and townships coming up in these areas. Moreover, many individual buyers have purchased the plots in Hingna, the fate of which has been lying uncertain in the wake of this development.

Moreover, recently, the Nagpur Improvement must (NIT) also undertook development of Sumthana and other villages under Nagpur Metropolitan Region Area Development Project. The letter sent to Deputy Inspector General of Registration by Mahagenco stated that for development of Mahajanwadi coal mine, Ministry of Coal has fixed targets for achieving commercial operations of the mine and huge penalties are pro-posed for missing the targets. Mahangeco needs help for timely completion of land acquisition. It may be recalled that Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has requested NIT and State Government to exclude coal belt bearing area from Metropolitan Region Development Plan.

Is Kedar sulking over Mulak taking reins as DCC President?

Nagpur Today : Nagpur News

Rajendra Mulak, Wasnik and Vilas Muttemwar
Nagpur:
A hot political debate as well as speculations started taking rounds soon after the former Minister of State Rajendra Mulak assumed charge as President of Nagpur District (Rural) Congress Committee on Sunday. A number of Congress leaders from city and Delhi as well marked their presence at the programme. But one leader was conspicuous by his absence. Sunil Kedar, the Saoner MLA. In fact he is the only MLA of the party in Nagpur District. The absence of Kedar sparked murmurs as well as open discussion in political circles. The focus of this debate was: Is Kedar being sidelined deliberately by the local party leaders or it was a political game-plan?

The sifting of discussions revealed that the Saoner MLA was craving for the post but the party high command had other plans. And accordingly, Rajendra Mulak was bestowed with the responsibility and Sunil Kedar was snubbed despite he being active in the Nagpur district politics since years. On the other hand, Mulak is naïve and will take time to understand the nitty-gritty of rural politics and also sense the pulse of party workers and leaders. Kedar could be seen mingling in rural areas around the year while Mulak is bang opposite of the tactics. The Saoner MLA is followed by huge number of partymen. Mulak has a select group of hardcore supporters. But the one fact that favoured Mulak to climb the post of President of Nagpur District (Rural) Congress Committee is the ‘trust’ of party high command as well as its cadre.

The fallout of Mulak taking the reins of rural Congress could be ‘disapproval’ of his leadership by the sulking Kedar and his group of supporters. The first signs of this fallout was seen in the absence of Kedar at the programme where Mulak took charge of his charge. The Congress party desisted itself from clearing the air on Kedar’s absence and also on whether he was invited or pacified of ‘hurt feelings.’ Only one local leader Vilas Muttemwar publicly accepted of trying to pacify the ruffled feathers of Kedar despite knowing the fact that Kedar had left no stone unturned to ensure his defeat in the last Lok Sabha poll.

However, it will not be an easy path for Mulak, too, to tread on the areas where Kedar holds his clout. Saoner, Kalmeshwar, Parshioni and few other pockets are under the clout of Kedar. But Mulak too is a veteran Congressman and a ‘smart’ politician. And the first test of his acumen would be the coming Zilla Parishad, Municipal Council elections in which the new DCC President will have to fight the rivals within and outside equally and politically to ensure victory for Congress.

Nagpur:
Every year 1st July is celebrated as “Chartered Accountants Day” throughout the country. It has been tradition of Nagpur Branch to organise several functions to celebrate this day with great enthusiasm & zeal. On this occasion Nagpur Branch has organised a Seminar to update the members & general public on the Income Declaration Scheme -2016 introduced by the Government of India which came in force on 1st June 2016. Minister of Finance Arun Jaitely had announced a one time opportunity to persons who had not paid full taxes in the past to come forward and declare the undisclosed income by paying 30% tax and 7.50% Surcharge & 7.50% as penalty totaling 45% of amount declared. The scheme shall be in force till 30th September 2016 and is open to all including Non Residents.

On this occasion Satish Goyal, Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) was invited as the Chief Guest. Goyal while urging the members to make full use of the Scheme highlighted that the biggest advantage of the scheme is that once an assessee declares income under this scheme, the declarent shall get immunity from penalty or prosecution proceedings under the Income tax Act – 1961 and the Wealth Tax Act 1957.

However the Commissioner also highlighted that the deadlines in respect this scheme should be adhered to strictly as failure to pay Tax (including Krishi Kalyan Cess) and Penalty before 30th November 2016, or any representation or suppression of facts or information will render the declaration void. He also said that while declaring the income under this scheme no deduction in respect of any expenditure shall be allowed against the income being declared. Goyal also narrated the ways through which such declaration can be filed which currently is being accepted through both online and offline mode.

Earlier Chairman CA. Swapnil Ghate in his welcome speech shared his happiness about the CA Day celebration and also requested the members and general public to take this scheme wholeheartedly. He also thanked the Income Tax Department for being co-operative and always available to solve the queries of assesses at all levels.

In the technical Session, CA. Rajesh Loya, Past Chairman of Nagpur Branch was Guest Speaker said that the scheme is about voluntary disclosure of untaxed income and acknowledgement of income tax liability by the assessee. Those who wish to file a declaration should first identify and list down the income on which taxes have not been paid. If any assets were acquired using such income, one should make a note of that too to be declared. He added that where the undisclosed income is easily accessible, one can simply put the amount. But if assets were acquired using this income, one has to disclose their fair market value (FMV) as on 1 June 2016. The tax has to be paid on the declared value of the assets. Loya also briefely mentioned about the guidelines to calculate FMV and also the details to be filled in Form – 1 of the Scheme. Nagpur
: The High Court on Tuesday i.e. July 5, 2016 issued notices to the state and granted interim relief to the applicant Avinash Bhute in an application filed by him challenging the orders of the Special Court of Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors Act (MPID), Nagpur.

Justice S.B. Shukre also permitted the applicant to offer his properties as security, in lieu of cash deposit every month. It may be recalled that Bhute is arrayed as an accused in the infamous Wasankar Scam and earlier this year, the Special Court under MPID Act had released Bhute on the condition of depositing Rs.1.5 Crores every month.

Although Bhute did deposit 2 Crores upfront, he thereafter sought modification of the said condition before the Special court. On July 1, 2016, the Special Court turned down his offer of giving his properties worth Rs 15 Crores as security instead of depositing cash every month.

Bhute stood the risk of cancellation of the bail granted to him by the Special court, if the conditions were not fulfilled. The matter is posted for further consideration on July 20, 2016.

The State was represented by Assistant Public Prosecutor Kadu, while Bhute was represented by Senior Advocate Avinash Gupta and Aakash Gupta Advocate.

NMC
Nagpur:
The cable duct scam tainted Executive Engineer of Water Works Department of NMC Sanjay Gaekwad has reportedly sought voluntary retirement. Gaekwad is the second official of the Department to apply for voluntary retirement. Earlier, a senior official R D Jadhav too had applied for the same about three months ago and his application was accepted. Interestingly, Jadhav is scheduled to retire on July 31.

The Executive Engineer, who is facing charges in cable duct scam, is ailing since past few days. Gaekwad had found himself on sticky grounds after allegations of drastically reducing penalty levied on four mobile companies for illegally digging cable ducts in city. The tainted official had reduced a penalty of Rs 54.59 crore slapped on the 4 cellular companies to mere Rs 14.01 lakh in January, 2010. However, a subsequent probe had given him a clean chit. But the scam allegations had taken its toll and Gaekwad had taken ill with the affliction of spondylitis. Because of the illness, he has sought voluntary retirement, Gaekwad says.

The allegations leveled against the Executive Engineer were that as per guidelines, Gaekwad was supposed to facilitate removal of the optical fibre cables laid without permission, blacklist the companies and also recover the penalty amount. Following the allegations, the Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar had initiated an inquiry against Gaekwad but he was given a clean chit. Gaekwad otherwise has two more years of service. Though he has submitted his voluntary retirement application on Monday, Hardikar has not forwarded it to the General Administration Department (GAD). On the other hand, the NMC administration, has however, accepted the application of Jadhav who is slated to retire on July 31.

Land Pool Model to be adopted for Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway for benefit of farmers

Nagpur:
The Maharashtra Cabinet on Tuesday approved in-principle the land pooling scheme by which land for the ambitious Mumbai-Nagpur Super Expressway would be acquisitioned from farmers with their pre-consent and partnership in the mega project. The Expressway, which would revolutionize transport in state and boost agro-economic growth in Vidarbha, Marathwada and parts of Maharashtra, will be named ‘Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg’ and the 24 proposed new cities to be constructed along, will be known as ‘Krishi Samruddhi Kendras’ (Centres).

The Mumbai- Nagpur Super Expressway, to be constructed at a cost of Rs 30,000 crore, would be a gamechanger and developmental model of agriculture economy for development of backward and drought-hit districts of the State. The Super Expressway will help connect five Revenue Divisions of State – Nagpur, Amravati, Aurangabad, Nashik and Konkan — and pass through 350 villages of 27 talukas of 10 districts namely Nagpur, Wardha, Amravati, Washim, Buldhana, Jalan, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Nashik and Thane. Apart from emphasis on bringing travel time down from 16 hour to 8 hours, there will be impetus on cottage industries. The MSRDC has been appointed as nodal agency for implementing Green Field Alignment of the project. Land Pool Model will be adopted for development and construction of this Super Expressway. Infrastructure related to hospitality such as hotels, inns, food courts and entertainment centres have been earmarked to generate income and employment for locals.

Apart from constructing the 700-km stretch eight lane roads, the government has drawn up two major plans for development of metros and drought-hit districts. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who conceptualised the detailed plan indicated that the real objective of the Nagpur-Mumbai Supercommunication Expressway is not about hi-speed travel. What is more significant is agro-industrial development in the 20 districts, which gives it added advantage due to connectivity to JNPT port.

Moreover, centre and state have taken decision on two dry ports at Jalna and Wardha. While planning the proposed route of this Expressway, vital places such as crowded residential areas, orchards, big dams, forest land, lakes, and forests were bypassed. The process of land acquisition and pre-tender formalities will be completed soon. To override concerns of the land acquisition along some stretches, the government has decided to integrate agro-industrial development with water conservation projects.

The concept of providing water conservation projects to facilitate assured agriculture, especially in drought prone districts, is high on the agenda of the government. This project will not just be a gamechanger but it will would open the doors and fulfill the aspirations of backward districts long deprived of agro-industrial growth.

GIGOLOS

Dirty Duping

Nagpur: Framing the new rules for the game, the duping business has evolved in Nagpur to take a fresh new face which conserves its innocence till you are actually duped. If latest trend is anything to go by, Nagpur youths are allegedly falling prey to this new found tactics to extract money from them. This time the tool of vastly expanded racket is sex. Either get to play or serve as gigolo.- a male sex worker!

It starts with a phone call!
Don’t get carried away if you get a call offering you the sex services to satiate your libido or even a proposal for you to honey trap you into fake lure of being a Gigolo. The net amount lost by Nagpur youths in this racket runs into lakhs. So it goes two ways, both have similar intent – to make a big hole in your pocket and by the time you realises the truth, you are already cheated!

However Nagpur police claimed ignorance on the rampant trend. Talking to Nagpur Today Additional Police Commissioner (Crime Head) Ranjan Sharma said that he was unaware of such activities and if he receives any complaint he would certainly act against the doers.

Using sex as bait
In one of many such cases the youth get mobile numbers of girls who provide escort services through friends or even agents of these gangs. The youth makes a call on the number provided. Right from the start, the voice on the other end oozes oomph and seduction. The female voice starts an interview sort of dialogue where she gets all the details of Full Name, Age, Occupation, Address, Marital Status, Physical Appearance (height, weight, built) etc. Then the female voice informs you of various services provided by the girls registered with them. The female voice goes on to give explicit details of the girls, their built, the intimate and professional services they offer etc. (Somehow the female at the other end reads your liking and offers just the kind of escort services which the person calling them wants).

Here’s the Catch!
Now comes the real catch! The female voice at the other end asks the caller to deposit a particular amount in a bank account. These bank accounts are normally not of Nationalized Banks. So alluring is the wooing that the youth promptly deposits the amount into the account. He then waits for a response from the other end to confirm the escort services. However, even after hours he does not get any response. All his calls then goes unanswered or is informed that the number is switched off.

Out of shame, embarrassment and ignominy, the caller chooses not to lodge a complaint with the police nor inform anyone about how he was duped.

Twist in the Tale
Recently, some youth received a call from a female who claimed her name as Riya Malik. She claimed to be an agency which is recruiting youth, healthy, well-built youth as Gigolos. (Gigolos are male commercial workers). The female caller Riya Malik informed the youth that he will have to become a member of their Giggolo Club based in Pune (by paying a sum of Rs 3,100/-) which provides discreet male-escort services to many young girls and women. The female caller Riya Malik got all the details of Full Name, Age, Occupation, Address, Marital Status, Physical Appearance (height, weight, built), colour complexion etc.

The female caller Riya Malik claimed that the youth will not only get paid for having sexual intercourse with girls and women but will enjoy it too (giving detailed description of the kind of girls and women who avail their services). However, the youth would have to give some percentage of the money received to their Club (30% to Club and 70% to the individual). Another condition was that he would be taken by a four wheeler of the club and escorted by the club’s personnel (pick-up and drop services to avoid wastage of time in searching addresses). As many as 36 meetings with female clients will be fixed. This registration will be valid only for three months. The female voice Riya Malik said that they provide services all over India. Riya claimed that the Club’s number is operational from 10 am to 6 pm.

Riya Malik gave a Bank Account in which to pay the registration charges which is
Axis Bank N R Services: Account No 916xxxxxx510524 IFSC Code UTIB0002688 Regd: Riya Malik.

Nagpur: ” Dipali ma’m and Senior Inspector Katak Dhon have both been transferred. When they were in charge of the investigation, we were still hopeful, they were upright Police officers and sympathetic to our case. We fear for what’s in store for us” said Bindra, in the Criminal case that a flat owner had lodged against builder Reatox and MADC officials in the stalled project of the prestigious First City, a housing scheme that was launched with much fanfare within MIHAN almost 15 years ago.

The case had come up for hearing in the High Court at Nagpur yesterday, but a further period of one month was granted to the accused by the Honorable judge.

“We have already lost so much money and time, these delays do not surprise us now” said the petitioner. The First city owners welfare association which had also joined this case have filed a separate case also where they hold MADC solely responsible for their fate.

“We have been duped on a number of counts. First, since the township was within MIHAN only people working in MIHAN projects were eligible to purchase property – this criterion was not followed. First city was denotified later, after this fact became public.

Secondly, MADC, removed the project from the first builder Reatox for reasons best known to them. They fought legal battles against Reatox in High Court and later Supreme Court – and after winning in both courts, now the new government wants to give the project back to the same builder! What a cruel joke is this?” Asks an irate member of the association.

“This is builder – politician nexus of the highest order, and we are suffering” is the general consensus.

At stake is 90 crore Rupees that were sunk by investors, which with interest paid have now climbed to an estimated Rs. 250 crores. Vijaya Bank, one of the main promoters claims to have ‘lost’ Rs. 283 crores ( initial investment of Rs. 120 crores plus interest). In February 2016 they had moved to auction the land on which First City stands to recover their dues. At this point the Welfare Association had moved High Court to prevent the auction. As they rightly feared, once the land was auctioned off the project would be dead and they would lose all money invested.

The High Court thankfully did stay the auction. The next hearing of this case is on 24th July.

  • Meanwhile customers of first city have the following apprehensions:

They say according to the original plan First City was supposed to consist of 1700 apartments out of which only 550 have been sold; thus 2/3rd are unsold. If the project is revived and interest of Nagpurians again picks up, the builder can make a killing out of selling these remaining flats. Why will he relinquish the project in such a scenario.

  • Shirodkar, the main man behind Reatox is known to be close to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Thus despite losing in the Supreme court MIHAN officials and First City members will be “persuaded” to stay with this Builder.

If legally this is not possible some ‘jugad’ will be engineered like getting a third party – another real estate company – involved who will then tie up with Shirodkar enabling him to be the shadow owner.

  • This plan already seems to be unfolding; If you access the First City site on google another ‘builder’ by name IJM India Infrastructure Ltd. based in Hyderabad crops up as the promoter. www.commonfloor.com/first-city-nagpur/povp-pwjmvk ( check this)

The First City buyers are so frustrated and helpless though that they are ready for any scenario. They only want possession of their flats at long last or their investment returned with minimum interest.

Many have paid up almost the entire price of the property and are now paying monthly EMI to banks! That is the Honest indian for you – always taken for a ride by everyone.
