Nagpur : Jaripatka police have booked a 53 year old man for luring a woman into fake job promise and eventually raping her repeatedly. The accused has been identified as Chandrakant Kisan Tayde (53), a resident of Power Grid Square.
Sources informed that Chandrakant is a Senior Manager in Umred WCL. He met the 22-year-old complainant and assured to give her a job through his contacts. He took Rs 1.65 lakh from her in regular intervals of time. Not just this, but the accused then raped the girl repeatedly at various places. He threatened her of dire consequences if she narrates the incidence to anyone. On Sunday, the girl finally dared to lodge a complaint against Chandrakant at Jaripatka police station.
Cops have registered an offence under sections 420 and 376 of the IPC and booked the accused. Further investigations are in progress.
