
School kids have their day out enjoying ride in newly introduced ethanol run green bus, in a special tour conducted by NMC.

As the transport department provided the permission to run the newly introduced ethanol-run green bus on trial basis only, the operators have pumped the services to school, giving the kids a fun ride. In one such tour city school children were taken to places like Raman Science Centre, Central Museum and Traffic Park. Nagpur Municipal Corporation had arranged this trip.
In presence of Mayor and MLA Prof Anil Sole, the bus run on Ethanol, presented to Nagpur Municipal Corporation by company Scania was pressed into service for the trip and the joy of the children was very perceptible.
Present on the occasion were ruling party leader, Pravin Datke, transportation committee chief, Sudhir Raut, transportation manager and deputy commissioner, Sanjay Kakde, Hanuman Nagar zone chief, Sarika Nandurkar, corporator, Rashmi Fadanvis, Divya Dhurde, Prabha Jagnade, corporator Rajesh Ghodpage and Mahendra Raut. Education officer, Dipendra Lokhande, school inspector, Dabhekar, sports and cultural inspector Vijay Imane, headmaster W S Mun, Tabsum Saba, Sajida Begum, Surraiya Anis, Vijay Chourasia, Dashrath Maske and others.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation had organised the trip on experimental basis for educational tour for students with active co-operation from company.
