Adding another shameful incident to the rising crime against young girls and women, a boy in her teens allegedly molested a five year old girl near his residence under Nandanvan police station. The cops have booked the accused as the girl managed to escape.
The five-year-old survivor was playing in the garden near her residence on Monday when the accused Aman Devikar approached her and tried to outrage the modesty of the little girl. The girl ran away and narrated the incidence to her mother. The woman immediately approached Nandandan policed lodged a complaint against the boy.
Cops have registered an offence under Sections 354 (a) of the IPC against the accused. Further investigations are under way.
